Heather Beckson Heather Beckson, Director of Eligibility Services, has more than ten years experience in the Medical Assistance eligibility application process. Heather had recently held the position of Manager – Delaware Office for a Medical Assistance eligibility company as well as Director of Client Services. Heather’s primary responsibilities were to oversee a staff of over 15 employees and the processing of more than 5,000 eligibility applications. She works closely with all staff including; hospital representatives, field representatives and office staff. Heather works with clients to ensure a high level of performance for their programs. Heather earned her Bachelor of Science in Insurance from The Pennsylvania State University.

Carleen Brooks Carleen Brooks, Manager of Healthcare Billing Services, has more than 15 years experience in the billing and follow-up of healthcare claims. Carleen had previously held the position of Manager for a diversified billing company responsible for a staff of 20 and the processing of thousands of provider claims. Carleen’s experience is extensive in a wide range of payers. She has extensive capabilities in Pennsylvania Medical Assistance and Out of State Medicaid receivable management. Carleen’s experience has expanded to working and Managing on-site receivable projects at provider locations.

Anthony C. Crisafulli Anthony Crisafulli has more than 19 years of experience in the Healthcare Industry. Anthony is the president and founder of AC Healthcare Consultants, Inc. established in 1998. The company specializes in total physician practice management encompassing all facets of operational and administrative processes.
Recently the company has collaborated on a joint venture with PATHS, LLC.
Anthony has been an honorium speaker for such companies as Ortho Biotech, Novartis, Amgen and Teva Neuroscience. He has been a guest speaker for NJSOM (New Jersey Society of Oncology Managers). In the past, Anthony has held a Regional Directorship with a major management company responsible for the financial solvency of numerous physician based practices. Previously Anthony was Vice President of Administration for a National Therapeutic company with 30 satellite offices. He was responsible for over 100 employees in both the patient accounting and administrative departments.
Prior to his extensive physician based administrative experience, Anthony was a Patient Accounts Business Manager for Temple University Hospital. He was responsible for all business relative to outpatient, ER and SPU procedures. There he managed a department of 30 employees.

Tony M. DiLuca, CHFP Tony DiLuca has over twenty years of experience in Business Office and Patient Account Receivable Management for the Healthcare Industry. Most recently, Tony has held the position as Chief Operating Officer of the Hospital Medical Services Division for a National healthcare management company. In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Tony was responsible for direct management and supervision of over 200 Healthcare professionals providing leadership in the areas of Billing, Patient Access, Receivable Follow-up and Entitlement services. He had direct management and operational responsibility for multiple outsourced Hospital Business Offices and oversight of the receivable collection process.
Tony DiLuca previously held senior corporate titles, including Associate Controller of Patient Accounting in a multi-hospital system and Director of Patient Financial Services in a major Philadelphia teaching Hospital. His Patient Financial Services experience includes the management of Patient Accounting Departments; implementing and successfully utilizing computer systems to support registration, billing and collection of receivables; and, insuring compliance with a myriad of federal and state regulations.
Tony has a BS in Accounting from Drexel University and is certified as a Healthcare Financial Professional. He is an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and is currently serving on several committees. He has also chaired committees including the Reimbursement committee. Tony currently serves on the Board of the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management and is a member of several of this organization’s other local chapters.

Anthony J. Mackiewicz Tony Mackiewicz has more than twenty-five years of experience in the Healthcare Industry, with particular emphasis in Finance and Patient Receivable Management. For the last 10 years, Tony has been an entrepreneur in the for profit sector, developing and expanding a number of Healthcare receivable management service companies. This depth of experience culminated in his position as Chief Executive Officer of the Hospital Medical Services Division for a National healthcare management company. In his role as Chief Executive Officer, Tony was responsible for management and supervision of over 500 employees representing approximately 200 Healthcare providers in a variety of patient receivable billing and collection initiatives. He had overall management responsibility for over one billion dollars in annual client revenues, from a broad spectrum of healthcare providers including Hospitals, Physician practices, long-term care, mental health, and rehabilitation facilities.
Tony Mackiewicz also has significant financial experience in the Healthcare Industry resulting from his position as the Controller for a major Philadelphia teaching Hospital. During his 14 years of service at that institution, a broad range of financial healthcare experience was developed as he held a variety of positions in Budget and Reimbursement, Financial reporting and audit, patient accounting and patient access. He was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Finance department including developing strategic initiatives, regulatory oversight and financial analysis for presentation to executive management and the Board of Trustees. He has also held a position of Vice President Finance for a major Philadelphia Law Firm.
Tony earned a BS in Accounting and Business Administration from Drexel University and successfully passed the Pennsylvania Certified Public Accounting Examination in 1980. He has been an active participant in the Healthcare Financial Management Association and served as chairman of a number of committees for the organization over the years. He is a recipient of the Edward F. Mallon new member, Follmer and Reeves awards in recognition of meritorious service to the Philadelphia Chapter of this organization.

Herman Mattleman, Esquire Herman Mattleman, J.D., is a practicing lawyer in Philadelphia. Additionally, he was co-founder of Medical Assistance Recovery Systems in 1986 and later served as a consultant for the Hospital Division of National Data Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange company. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and School of Law.
Herman has taken major roles in many area civic organizations, including serving as President of the Philadelphia Board of Education for seven years. He was Chairman of the Utility Emergency Services Fund and Chairman of the Metropolitan Region Advisory Board of the Anti-Defamation League. Currently he is the Treasurer of the Philadelphia Foundation, Vice President of Northeast Treatment Centers, Treasurer of the Philadelphia Ranger Corps and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Free Library of Philadelphia. Herman has received numerous honors including, The Philadelphia Award and the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Leon Obermayer Award.

Anna Martz, CPAT Anna Martz has more than 12 years of experience in the Healthcare field. For the last 10 years Anna was employed with a large healthcare accounts receivable company and held many positions. She started as a biller/collector where she began to demonstrate her ability to manage staff, problem solve, system skills and a hard work ethic. Anna was promoted to outpatient billing manager and successfully managed a high volume unit whose clients included physicians, hospitals and other providers. Her ability to communicate with clients, staff, manage processes and initiate process improvement action steps ensured successful engagements for both the client and her employer. Because of her accomplishments, Anna was promoted to Vice-President of Client servicing.
Anna is currently the Vice President of Client Servicing for PATHS. Anna’s responsibility is to ensure the successful start-up and completion of projects as well as the continued over site and management of ongoing engagements. Anna has hands on experience with many of the hospital and physician systems including IDX, SMS Signature, SMS, Meditech, Medical Manager and other In-House developed systems. Anna manages many of our on-site engagements, which includes the management of staff, reporting and the communication with the client.
Anna has developed a strong knowledge of payers including Medicare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield Medical Assistance, Managed Care and Commercial. She also has a great deal of experience with behavioral health billing as well as the Medical Assistance eligibility and EVS process. Anna has hands on experience in dealing with all aspects of the revenue cycle. Her energy level and commitment to our clients/engagements has become an integral part to the success of PATHS

Roger D. Poremsky, CPAM Roger D. Poremsky has more than seventeen years of experience in patient Financial Services Management for the Healthcare Industry. Recently Roger held the position of Executive Director of Sales and Marketing as well as Director of Billing for a national healthcare management company. In his duel role, Roger was responsible for direct management and supervision of over 80 healthcare professionals in the areas of Billing, Receivable Management, Collections and Client Services. Roger previously held key management positions in two hospitals. His Patient Financial Services experience includes management of Patient Accounting, Information Systems, patient Access and Collections. Roger has successfully guided hospitals through multiple computer conversions, coordinated the transition of a Business Office to a paperless environment, successfully implemented reporting and benchmarking standards and established a proven record of excellence for cash flow management and days in account receivable.
Roger performed undergraduate studies in Business Management at Lock Haven University and completed extensive work in Organization Management at the University of Delaware. He is an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Roger also serves on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer for the Keystone Chapter of the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management and previously served on the National Board of Directors.

Geri Stenson Geri Stenson has 23 years experience in the Healthcare field. Geri presently is director of Physician’s Billing at Paths LLC. Geri and her staff provide an array of services ranging from billing, collections, cash posting, account receivable analysis, practice management, and consulting. She provided services to various clients from Psychiatry, Hospitalists, Internal Medicine, Dental, and Geriatrics. Geri has utilized multiple physician billing systems. Geri has also performed training sessions for Physicians and their staff related to proper charging related to billing.
Geri Stenson previously held the position of Director of CBH billing, as well as the Manager of the Outsource Department of a diversified billing company responsible for Client relations, billing, follow up, accounts receivable management, special projects. Throughout her 13 years at the same company she also managed the Delaware Medicaid Eligibility department, which included SSI applications and follow up related to Long Term Care. Geri utilized multiple hospital systems during this time.
Prior to the billing company, Geri worked at Presbyterian Hospital, Crozer Chester Medical Center and Temple University Hospital. Geri has held various positions including an admission clerk, Medical Assistance billing, cashier, cash posting, Financial Counselor, utilization review and precertifications coordinator and also took Medical Assistance applications.

Robyn Walls Robyn Walls, Director of Eligibility Services, has more than six years experience in the Medical Assistance eligibility application process. Robyn had recently held the position of Manager – Allentown Office for a Medical Assistance eligibility company. Robyn’s primary responsibilities were to oversee a staff of over 25 employees and the processing of more than 6,400 eligibility applications. She works closely with all staff including; hospital representatives, field representatives and office staff. Included in her daily activities Robyn is also responsible to attend client meetings, develop specialized reports for clients and work closely with supervisors at county welfare offices to resolve rejected cases. Robyn earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Allentown College of Saint Francis de Sales.
